God has been sharing/challenging me in 3 areas over the past month. I felt led to share for anyone who may be experiencing the same thing.
For the person who feels “hidden” or feels like everyone else is winning around you and you haven’t had your moment. Be mindful of the season you are in. God is watching how you steward this time “behind the scenes.” It’s not the right timing but when He does release you, you’ll be more than ready and your character will be ready to sustain everything coming your way.
“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” - 1 Peter 5:6
For the person who has been receiving opposition and tension from loved ones. God wants us to be reminded that it’s not the person that is attacking us but the enemy has attacked their mind and spirit. Give grace to the person and intercede on their behalf.
“For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” - Ephesians 6:12-13
This one may sting a little but God is not pleased with the amount of time that is spent on social media, career, or other platforms/outlets that take away our time and energy from his presence. He is a jealous God and the peace and joy we are searching for is found in his presence, not in those things. He’s a relational God not transactional, and it’s time for us to realign our priorities. Can you honestly say that God has been first in your life?
“You must worship no other gods, for the Lord, whose very name is Jealous, is a God whois jealous about his relationship with you.” - Exodus 34:14
